After having worked with publishers and such, which was a very good experience, I have decided to try it on my own.
The reason? To do exactly what I want, how I want, and when I feel like it. With the other books I learned a lot, but they were all commissions and now I wanted to dedicate myself to what I like: curiosities, languages, words, stories, mythologies... and to investigate everything that catches my attention, which is legion.
As you may have already noticed if you have taken a look at this page, I love curious facts about everything in general, trivia, which they are called in English. I can spend hours, days, reading useless things that only interest four people. freaks. And the truth is that it gives me a bit of a conscience to “waste” my time, so to speak — with the amount of things I have to do for work, at home… it bothers me to spend hours on the Internet and then not see “nothing useful.” So I said to myself, "And why don't you combine the two things, and while you gossip about everything that has happened and that has happened, you take notes, and then you publish it and at least it gives you the impression of having done "something useful." ?». And that's what I started.

What you see here is, quite simply, an experiment. Let me explain: the world of the writer indie, the independent writer, has nothing to do with that of the writer who works with a publishing house. Those of us who want to be independent in life have to do everything ourselves. ALL. From, of course, writing the book, having someone proofread it, having a cover, and the rest of the work itself, to the issues of where to publish it, how to do that, and now how the hell do I do it for make it known and have people read it (marketing)... And these are just a couple of examples of the approximately four million more things that you have to take into account when you want to get into these messes.
In short: it is anything but simple, and no one is born knowing it.
So before I went all out and had my first independent book be one of my favorite projects, I decided to write something “quickly” (it took me weeks) with which I could get a bit of a grip on the book. issue.
And this is the result. ????
I still have a long way to go, the book has hundreds of flaws, clearly... But this experiment has served to show me that it can be done, that it is possible to do it. That's already a lot, a lot, at least for me—because it wasn't so clear to me that publishing a book on Amazon would actually work...
I have had the book in the Amazon store for more than half a year, and now I have decided to remove it and offer it here, for anyone who might be interested.
