In the Nordic tradition, specifically in Iceland, there is a custom of giving books as gifts on Christmas Eve and spending the rest of the evening reading them. This practice is known as \u201cJ\u00f3lab\u00f3kafl\u00f3\u00f0\u201d or \u201cChristmas Book Flood.\u201d After receiving books as gifts, people spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day reading quietly.<br>That\u2019s the kind of thing I love, and to celebrate Christmas and thank you for being there, I\u2019d like to give you the latest book I\u2019ve written: <strong><em>Books &amp; Literature.
