Quick update on Shadow Nights

Hi, everyone!
I know it’s been a while since I last shared anything about ‟Noches de Sombras”. I know, I know… But you all know these past few months have been a bit complicated. Even so, I wanted to give you a quick update because I know some of you have been wondering what’s going on with the book and the promised content updates.

>> By the way, here is a small article about what is and what is not Noches de Sombras (Nights of Shadows).. There seem to have been some misunderstandings...

So, here’s the deal:
Some time ago, I told you that I wrote this book really quickly
I wrote the draft in no time and, for the reasons I mentioned in the video, made the mistake of publishing it as it was. But when I went back to read it, I honestly wasn’t entirely happy with the result.

First Round: A month of tweaking

I gave it a first review, and it took me almost a month to work through it. I was adding bits here, cutting bits there… You know, the usual when you sit down to rewrite: you doubt, you change, you test, you discard, you change again… and on it goes.

Second Round: Books aren’t written, they’re rewritten (and you try not to lose your mind along the way)

During Christmas, I said to myself: "No, it’s still not where I want it to be," and I gave it another round of revisions. Because, honestly, being a writer isn’t just about writing books. Nope. Writing can be quick, but what truly makes a writer is rewriting, editing, rewriting again, editing some more… 🌀
And so the cycle continues.

Honestly, you can write a book in a month and then spend two or three years polishing it. I’m not exaggerating (though I really hope this isn’t the case with Noches de Sombras! 😅). So, that’s where I’ve been: back to editing, tweaking, diving a little deeper into some things here and there… Until I finally had to put a stop to myself because otherwise, I was going to be editing until next Christmas.

Where am I now?

Right now, I’m in the process of integrating all the changes I’ve made. I’m formatting everything, which is moving a bit slowly because if one thing doesn't break, something else does: the software, the computer... and to top it all off, my website is now acting up, so I'll have to spend a couple of days fixing it. This whole thing of writing and trying to get published, while also trying to connect with people on social media, is just one big non-stop party.

But hey, the important thing is that we’re making progress, and I hope I’ll be able to share the revised digital version of the book with you very soon.
In the meantime, just a quick reminder that the previous version is still available on Amazon, and it’s still at the launch price (99 cents), in case you’re interested or want to gift it to someone. The nice thing about grabbing the book now is that you get a behind-the-scenes look at how a book evolves from its early versions to the final, polished product. 😊

New Projects: More Noches de Sombras Content—But Audiovisual

I’ve also got some exciting plans: I’m thinking of starting a series of videos about "Noches de Sombras".

Why? Well, honestly, because I really want to, and I think there’s some super interesting content that can come to life in a bigger way through video. Videos have this advantage of being more dynamic than books, and I also feel like they open up more opportunities for interaction with all of you. So that’s the plan: to bring back this format and give the stories, creatures, and places of Noches de Sombras a special spotlight.

Thanks for your support

Thank you, as always, for your patience and for being there to support me.

I hope you enjoyed this little update. If you have any questions or if there’s anything you’d like to know about Noches de Sombras, feel free to leave me a comment.

Sending you all a big hug, and I hope you have a great day. ❤️
