Yes, the world is complicated. I won't deny it.

But good things happen too. Every day. The problem is they don't make the headlines—or they do, but they're drowned out by everything else.

I've been actively seeking out good news for some time now. Not to ignore reality, but because I believe that what we feed grows. And I refuse to feed only fear.

So here's my list of reference websites—in Spanish, English, and German—so you can find the ones you like best. I'm leaving it here permanently, and I'll update it as I discover new ones.

RTVE Buenas Noticias — rtve.es RTVE's weekly collection of good news. Videos and articles, in Spanish from Spain.

Cuéntame Algo Bueno — tellmesomethinggood.com Positive news organized by topic and community. With a strong focus on Spain, featuring content on science, the environment, and society.

Prensa Mercosur — prensamercosur.org Science, health, and environment news from Latin America. Very useful for news that doesn't reach European media.

Good News Network — goodnewsnetwork.org One of the oldest websites in the sector — since 1997. Updated several times a day, with an archive of more than 21,000 positive stories.

Sunny Skyz — sunnyskyz.com/good-news Human stories, animal stories, stories of unsung heroes. More emotional and relatable than others. Perfect for those days when you need something to warm your heart.

Good News EU — goodnews.eu/en Focused on Europe. Positive news about innovation, the environment, and society. Also available in German.

Reasons to Be Cheerful — reasonstobecheerful.world Founded by David Byrne (yes, the one from Talking Heads). News and solutions for a better world. Very well written and with a global perspective.

Today's Good News — today.com/news/good-news The good news segment of NBC's Today show. Updated daily, a mix of serious news and inspiring stories.

In German 🇩🇪

Good News EU — goodnews.eu The same website as in English, but in German. Six good news stories every few days, very well selected.

Good News Magazine — goodnews-magazin.de Independent German magazine of positive journalism. Highly professional, with in-depth articles about people and projects that make a difference.

Gute Nachrichten — gute-nachrichten.com.de Positive news about nature, health, and innovation. Updated and focused on the German-speaking world.

Nur Positive Nachrichten — nur-positive-nachrichten.de Exactly what the name says: only positive news. Visually simpler, but with interesting content.
