Disconnecting to Connect: Towards More Authentic Content

Hello everyone.

Have you ever stopped to think about how much of our time and energy is consumed by social media, and how this affects what we truly value?

Social media has often dictated my pace over the past few months, and this has led me to wonder if what I do is really feeding my passion for writing and my goal of connecting with my readers… And the answer, surprise surprise, has been a resounding “no.”

So today I wanted to share something with you. Another part of my journey, this constant trial and error. After much thought, I have decided to devote 2024 to focusing more on the content of my website and writing books, thus reducing my presence on social media. This does not mean that I will disappear completely: I will remain active on my Facebook page and, perhaps, a little on Instagramand especially on my WhatsApp channel.

I'd also like to revive the YouTube channel, but hey, you can't and shouldn't (I think) try to do everything at once.

Quality over Quantity

This is, of course, a very personal decision. It depends on what each of us values more. We need to consider what kind of content we want in our lives: the constantly updated content of social media, the hamster wheel, or, as in my case, stories and articles woven with time, care, depth, rigorous research and attention to detail.
There are exceptions, of course. There are people on social networks who produce a lot of content every week, all of it of the highest quality.
But that's not my case. I can either focus on creating content for the networks, or I can focus on writing books and articles that resonate with me and are well researched. So I had to make choices and prioritise.

As a writer, my goal is to create stories and articles that entertain, inform and resonate with your lives. By spending more time writing and less time updating networks, I can focus more on the quality of my writing and provide you (and myself) with more thoughtful, researched and enriching writing.

If My World is Books, What I Have to Do is Write. There Is No Other Way

Can you remember the last time a book transported you to another world? Isn't that what we're really looking for in every page we read and every story we write? I have always wanted to be a writer and this is another step towards that dream. Instead of spending hours on TikToks or Instagram posts, I will use that time to bring you stories full of imagination and relevant, well-researched content.

A One-stop-shop for Quality content

My website, now available in Spanish, English and German, will be the hub for everything related to my work. Here you will find in-depth articles, updates on my projects and exclusive content. I want it to be a meeting placewhere we can share and learn together.

Meaningful Connections

Beyond the superficial interactions of social media, I want to create deeper connections with you. Your input is essential to the direction of my work. I would love for you all to join me on this literary journey.

Join My Readers List

In this digital age, it is challenging to find the balance between being 'connected' and being authentically creative. How does this affect what we read and what we share? To follow this adventure, this process, I invite you to join my readers list if you are not already a member. You will receive exclusive content, updates on my books and a more personal connection. One of my goals is to create a community of people who are passionate about literature and learning.

In short, this change is about providing a richer and more satisfying experience for all of us. Thank you for joining me in this exciting chapter of my career!

And please do not hesitate to leave comments here, on the website which, as I have said, I want to become the chief meeting place between us. A nice, friendly, safe place where it is not only worth being, but where we all want to be.

Thank you again. ????????

Stories are everywhere, they surround us. In the end, we all become stories.
